Open the folder of the source images. We can see that they were taken with a fisheye lens and that we have three shots for the nadir. : m" t1 b2 C% P* R9 S, o
Doubling the shot is sufficient in most cases, but here, an extra photo was taken in to be sure to have the coverage to remove the tripod. ; h6 H6 G9 }2 D" ^2 i* G+ O
After the stitching, open the panorama editor.
4 Z# Z" R, o/ C! U/ h Move the panorama using the Move tool, to have the nadir neatly in the center. ! q- ^! |! C% K, A7 i1 s& i3 L
In the images mode, we can see our three images that have been stitched.
" ?7 f$ e8 U, |4 N7 k( y7 `& UActivate the Masking tool, and add a red marker on the visible tripod for each picture, and a green marker on the image without the tripod. Validate the modifications.

In a partially bracketed panoramaIn the case of Partial bracketing, the procedure is the same, except that the panorama contains a bracket. + Y+ z) t! g! \5 E2 s4 F+ r

Place the red masking points on the tripod and legs, and green on the ground you want to keep. 9 r( _! r; b7 s2 Q7 F3 w
This case is a good example to illustrate that the Masking tool doesn't do miracles, and if there is not the sufficient coverage that is required, some parts may remain. 1 @) j) o2 X2 t
In this case: one of the tips of the tripod's leg, none of our images allowed us to cover it completely. 2 {! r8 g* B# S# l! w, z. ^: E8 w* _+ G
This minor leftover is easy to edit out afterwards using Photoshop, than if you had to remove the tripod completely using Photoshop. & p9 Q4 e ?6 t! S1 m
